Intro: Karndean Art Select Prairie Oak
Welcome to our new portfolio of case studies where we can go a bit more in depth about our installations than we can on some of our social media channels. Here we completed a Karndean Art Select Prairie Oak flooring installation in Wetherby, North Yorkshire.
The client chose Prairie Oak, described as effortlessly stylish and full of character on Karndean’s website and as you can see from the photographs, the parquet pattern and variation brings real charm and character to the floor.
Karndean Flooring Design Features
Our client wanted a nice variation in the parquet flooring and a border to the edge. The Parquet pattern is laid in tiles size 18 x 3 and finished in Karndean Art Select Prairie Oak. The border uses the same range, but in a standard plank layout to frame the room, add in the Russet design strip to pop in some contrast and the effect is a timeless parquet with a modern twist.
